Ardbeg A distillery whose history can be traced back to 1794, but was closed from the early to late 1980's. This classic waterside distillery is now enjoying a great revival after re-opening with major investment from new owners - Glenmorangie Plc. House Style: Lots of peat, smoky, salty & robust One of my personal favourites, full of peat and body. Perfect to share with friends over a civilised evening of discussion and generally putting the world to right.
